| California Career College This 90-hour program prepares the student to enter the career field of “RESIDENTIAL HOME INSPECTOR”. Students will learn residential home inspection to provide interested parties with impartial and relevant information about the home, its various parts and systems in an easily understood, comprehensive, detailed report. The course has two primary goals: 1. To provide the student with a sound introduction to the components, materials, and mechanics of building systems that the student will encounter and evaluate as a home inspector. 2. To provide the student with a solid understanding of inspection processes, strategies and standards of practice that help define the scope of the inspection. The curriculum combines ”live” classroom lectures, workshops, individual self-study and practical onsite field study labs. Instruction is given in a “hands-on” lecture format by an experienced Home Inspection professional actively working in the field. The course study meets guidelines and standards set out by the CALIFORNIA REAL ESTATE INSPECTION ASSOCIATION (CREIA). |
